1.What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include localStorage and sessionStorage, which keep data locally in the browser and are not sent to the server automatically. In this document “cookies” covers all of these.
2.What we actually use
The only item we set is the storage of your consent record (see the table above). Your language choice is not stored in the browser — the language lives in the page address as the ?lang=en parameter. The server itself sets no marketing or analytics cookies.
3.Categories and legal basis
Necessary storage is set on the basis of the legitimate interest in operating the site and, for the consent record, to meet the obligation to demonstrate consent; no consent is required for it. Analytics and marketing would be set only on the basis of your consent and are currently empty categories — no such tool is loaded.
4.How consent is given, changed and withdrawn
On your first visit we show a banner with equally accessible “Accept all”, “Reject optional” and “Settings” options. We record your choice locally with a timestamp and the document version. You can change or withdraw your decision at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page — withdrawing is as easy as granting.
5.What happens if you reject
The site works exactly the same. No content is locked behind consent. We only record your negative answer so we do not ask again before it expires.
6.Re-asking for consent
The consent record is valid for 6 months. After it expires, and whenever this document's version changes or a new category is introduced, we will ask you again.
7.Third parties
We currently embed no third-party cookies — no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no ad networks, no embedded video. If we ever introduce them, we will first extend the table above and request consent before loading anything.
8.Browser settings and privacy signals
You can delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time. If your browser sends a “Global Privacy Control” or “Do Not Track” signal, we do not enable optional categories; since no such tools exist today, that signal has no further practical effect.
9.The application on a separate domain
The signed-in part of the product lives at app.pleno-booking.com and uses its own strictly necessary cookies for login and session security. This document covers the marketing site pleno-booking.com.
